What a season! Track & field is a close 2nd to volleyball for Delaney, and it was evident this season how much she enjoys it and thrives in challenging herself to get better each week. The girls' team, as a whole, was very competitive this year as well. They finished 2nd at a couple of bigger meets and finished as runners-up at the regional meet in Iola. This season, Delaney competed in triple jump, 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles, and was the 2nd leg of the girls 4x400 relay. She ended up qualifying for state in all 4 of these events! (more to come on that after this weekend.)
Top times and distances this year:
Triple jump - 33'7,"
100 hurdles - 16.24,
300 hurdles - 47.81
