After being home and on such a slow schedule for so many months, the busy weeks of school have been a little hard to adjust to! We forgot what it was like to be constantly on-the-go with school activities, and at the same time, the fall harvest and planting has been in full swing since not having rain for at least 6 weeks - and no chances in sight. So, what has happened in the 7 weeks since school started? Denise Voth and I coached these goofy girls through a short season of volleyball. The team was mostly 5th graders, but we also had a few 4th graders and even one 3rd grader - quite a range of abilities. I'm quite sure they had a good time! Delaney spends most evenings outside playing volleyball with the roof (and with me). It's fun to see her improve and to watch her challenge herself to get better!
