October Fun!

October was busy with activities, as most months are once the school year begins. Here's a rundown: 1. Art projects - Cambry had a couple of big art projects during the month.  She made an art piece for a silent auction, part of the art soiree fundraiser for SafeHope. We enjoyed accompanying her and Alece for a fancy evening out at an art auction, along with her art teacher, Kacie Schmidt. Her next art project was a joint effort with Alece and Adriana to turn trash into treasure! They made a dress out of recycled materials - plastic bags, book pages, burned matches - based on the book Fahrenheit 451 . They took it to a competition in St. John where Alece modeled the dress as part of a competition. The news was even there to document it. The girls placed FIRST in their class out of 13 dresses!  We are thankful that Cambry has had such great art opportunities, and for a teacher who makes those opportunities possible!
