We went to school expecting a few flurries, but suddenly the snow kept piling up and didn't stop. It turns out we were under an unusual weather system that created a 15-mile-wide strip of snow through Kansas. Goessel just happened to be underneath it while nearby towns didn't see flake! Unexpectedly, school was called off at 1 p.m. Our happy kids came home, and the girls went to work on a snow tunnel!
