Lent begins tomorrow. I hadn't really thought about it until this week. Sometimes I give things up, other years, I don't.
Lately, I've been struggling to find time to fit in ANY Bible study. I really go back and forth on this because I know I COULD find time. I usually end up with the same excuses like: I have 3 children now, I'm too tired, there's too much else to do (that's a big one for me -- I like to get things done when I have the chance).
Last night, I had a brainstorm: During Lent, I'm going to spend 30 minutes each day with my Bible. I'm going to do this at 6:30 a.m. -- half an hour before I usually get up! 6:30 probably doesn't sound early to a lot of you, but I'm definitely not a morning person -- never have been!
I guess if you're reading this, you can pray for me that I will have the perseverance to see this through and that I will lean on God for His help. Who knows? Maybe it will carry on beyond Lent!

Sounds awesome, Megan. And 6:30am sounds VERY early to me!
