Almost by accident, I found out that Kwame Alexander was going to be in Wichita at the Crowne Uptown Theatre, and I jumped on that opportunity! I took Delaney and Grammy along and we listened to him speak about his newest book, The Door of No Return , the first in a trilogy. Wow! Listening to an author read his own written words out loud was incredible! I was grateful for the opportunity and the company.
