On Thursday morning of their visit, we loaded up and went to Maxwell Game Preserve - a place where we could get up close and personal with the Bison. Unfortunately, Boden had a fever so Candace stayed home with him. We learned some new things about Bison - for instance, the bulls roar, they don't moo! We got to hear it and it really did sound like a lion roaring. I felt like I was back in school on a field trip - Caiden, in fact, had been there in May for his 2nd grade field trip. It was fun to take advantage of such a local attraction!
