Christmas in Pictures

Christmas Eve at Church - my most favorite night to be at church - every year!  This year, Caiden was a shepherd, Cambry sang in the children's choir, and Delaney was part of a class poem and song with the other children, ages 3-first grade.  Cambry and Delaney also shared a German Advent poem during the children's sharing time.  Delaney recited it in English, then Cambry said it in German.  I was so proud of them for getting up on the stage yet again. They didn't even seem nervous, which is quite something since there were around 500 people in church that night!  My sister-in-law videoed the girls (thank you, Trissa!):  Shenanigans after the program - sometimes the adults just take too long talking to people!  Christmas Eve at Grammy and Papa's: new tools for the toolboxes Dad made this for Vanessa - for one of her climbing plants in front of their house new Barbie closet Addi is being a very helpful older cousin! Pre-Christmas Activities

Last week was full of Christmas activities at school - or at least it felt like a full week.  I guess it was really just Monday and Friday!  On Monday, the girls had their music program.  It was fun to see Delaney really get into the actions for each of her songs.  On Friday, the girls both had Christmas parties. I got to help with Cambry's party - I was in charge of the craft.  We made cute little snowmen ornaments.  And thanks to a friend, I have a couple of pictures from Delaney's party. In front of her giant elf 2nd row - 2nd from right A reindeer and a Rudolf This 4th grade tree was quite something! They all made decorations for it. I loved this reindeer on the 4th grade door. Their teacher has quite an artistic gift!

Paint Wichita Purple

Chelan and I had planned to take Caiden to the K-State Men's BB game in Wichita last Saturday, but as luck would have it, Chelan got sick.  So, Caiden and I took my dad instead.  We got there in plenty of time, so we got to watch the teams warm-up.  We sat way up high, but after we got used to the steepness, the game was kind of fun to watch from up there - and K-State won - a bonus! Caiden and I hadn't been to a KSU basketball game for a couple of years, so we had a great afternoon.  And we even got some Christmas shopping done afterwards - my dad, too!  We had a fun AND productive trip! checking out all the players in the program our view

The Lego Game

I found these pictures on my camera - the Lego Friends have been at it again.  Delaney tells me it was picture day: Tasha, Emma, Noah Elizabeth Olivia Another new creation
